Purchaser is the cardholder and agrees to pay the purchase amount according to their credit card merchant agreement. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Boston Express will not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Tickets are nontransferable and, if presented for transportation by any person other than the one for whom originally purchased, will be void.

You must present a photo ID along with your electronic ticket in order to board the bus. The purchase of a Boston or Logan Airport electronic ticket does not guarantee a reserved seat. Boarding is done on a first come, first board basis.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Issuing carrier will be responsible only for transportation on its own lines, in accordance with tariff regulations and limitations and assumes no responsibility for any acts or omissions of others occurring within or outside of the United States, except as imposed by law with respect to luggage. Seating aboard vehicles operated in Interstate or foreign commerce is without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin. Special fares are limited for use as endorsed on ticket.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILD POLICY

Boston and Logan Airport Service: Children 8-15 years old may travel alone only under the following conditions: the origin agency must be open at the departure time and the destination agency must be open at arrival time. There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs at flag stops. Trips must not exceed 5 hours and must be made during daylight hours. Transfers are not permitted. For children between the ages of 8-12 years old, parent or legal guardian must sign an "Unaccompanied Child Form", which is available at all terminals and releases Boston Express Bus from any responsibility. An adult must put the child on the bus and an adult must be waiting to meet the child upon arrival. The adult at the destination must provide a photo ID showing that they are the person identified on the "Unaccompanied Child Form" before the child is released. The child must pay the adult fare.

INTERSTATE LUGGAGE LIABILITY

Liability for loss or damaged to checked luggage is limited to actual value not to exceed $250 for all luggage checked on one adult ticket or $125 on one half fare ticket unless greater value is declared at time of checking at which time charges for excess value will be collected and receipt issued. No liability is granted for personal carry-on items. All bags are subject to random search.

EXCESS LUGGAGE

Boston Express Bus drivers and terminal personnel are not required to handle luggage weighing in excess of 50 lbs. Each piece of luggage weighing more than 50 lbs. will be tagged with a "HEAVY" tag, which alerts drivers and luggage handlers NOT to handle the luggage. Passengers traveling with luggage over 50 lbs. must handle their own luggage. Scales are available at each bus terminal to weight your luggage so you will know before boarding the bus if your luggage is too heavy. If you believe that your luggage is too heavy or if you are unable to carry your heavy luggage, it is suggested that you carry multiple pieces not exceeding the number of luggage allowed per ticket. The luggage allowance is as follows: two (2) bags and one (1) carry-on for a full fare ticket, and one (1) bag and one (1) carry-on for a half-fare or child ticket. Any excess luggage there will be assessed a charge of $5 per bag. Additional luggage will be loaded as space allows. If you arrive at the terminal and your bag is too heavy and you are unable to carry your own luggage, it is up to the driver and luggage handlers as to whether they will be able to load and unload your luggage in a safe, injury-free manner.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Pets (dogs, cats, birds, etc.) are not permitted to be transported on Boston Express with the exception of service animals. At Boston Express Bus, customers with disabilities accompanied by a service animal are welcome. The service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times (i.e., leash, harness or carrier). The service animal must ride in the bus within the customer's space. Service animals may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat. Boston Express Bus reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers or Boston Express Bus personnel.

CHILDREN'S FARES

Children ages 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult paying passenger. One child 15 years of age and under rides free per each adult. Additional children 15 or younger are required to pay the child fare. There is no child discount on a same-day return ticket. Children ages 8-15 who travel alone in accordance with the Unaccompanied Children Policy pay the adult fare.

PHOTO ID

A valid photo ID is required of all passengers traveling with an adult ticket and must be presented prior to boarding. Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the person whose name appears on the ticket.

CHILD FARES

A child 15 years of age or younger may travel free with an adult purchasing a full fare ticket (discounted tickets would not apply). One child rides free per each adult full fare ticket. Any additional child(ren) 15 years of age or younger would qualify for the "Child" fare. All children must have a ticket to board.

TICKETS MUST BE PRINTED

We do not accept tickets shown on screens of phones, tablets or other portable devices. If you are unable to print your ticket before boarding the bus, please wait to purchase your ticket at a ticket counter. Every passenger (including children) must have a printed ticket to present to the driver before boarding the bus.

CANCELLATIONS

We want you to have an enjoyable trip. We understand you may need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are planning future travel, please note that all one-way tickets purchased may be used up to 90 days from the date of purchase and all return/round-trips may be used up to a year from the date of purchase.

DISCOUNTED TICKETS

All discounted fares, with the exception of the child fare, are not available via our online store. These tickets need to be purchased at a ticket counter with the appropriate form of identification.
